Ron Eakes is the owner of three ready mix plants, and is also a partner in two large scale dairies. He has been linked to various community organizations and charity events throughout his career. He is listed in National Register of Who’s Who in executives and Professionals. He consistently contributes to many societies such as Save the Children, Church Council, Knights of Columbus, American cancer Society, Children's Miracle Network, County Economic Organizations, Special Olympics, Kansas Peace Officers, etc.
