At least two people have died in clashes between opponents and supporters of Egypt's President Mohamed Mursi outside the Muslim Brotherhood's headquarters in Cairo.

Gunfire rang out and fires blazed as violent protesters attacked the building with shotguns, petrol bombs and rocks.

Hospital sources said at least eleven people had been injured.
