The 48th Karlovy Vary international film festival is in full swing in the Czech spa town , with Hollywood A-lister John Travolta in town to receive a lifetime award.

He was the latest top star - after Helen Mirren, Harvey Keitel, John Malkovich and Jude Law among others - to pick up the festival's crystal globe.
