TMZ obtained a letter reportedly written by Aaron Hernandez to a pen pal. The former NFL player claims he’s innocent and that "God" put him in jail "for a reason." It goes on to say he looks forward to playing in the NFL again when this is all over. TMZ says law enforcement officials have confirmed the letter as authentic.
