Nine students were killed on Tuesday when suspected Islamist militants opened fire on a school in north-east Nigeria, according to a Reuters report. Students at the Ansarudeen School on the outskirts of Maiduguri were taking their end-of-year exams when gunmen believed to be associated with militant group Boko Haram stormed the building.
