people may not have agreed with what richard sherman said (or how he said it); is the racist language towards him necessary; especially when i generally haven't seen the same hateful language spewed towards those individuals at penn state university who took part in flipping over cars and tearing down lamposts after their beloved coach joe paterno was fired, due to his silence in relation to child molester/rapist jerry sandusky? indeed, paterno reportedly told police of an 'accusation' of what happened; in reading about the case though, it appears to me as if he still protected his own. of course both paterno and sandusky have had words spewed towards them, but their ethnicities were not a factor. according to these racists, one (black) man's opinion and excitement warrants more hate than a man who has repetedly harmed children. to gain respect from these folks, sherman should have just remined docile and unassuming. and he has the nerve... the gall... to be intelligent as well!
