He's a household name here in France: Bertrand Delanoe, the mayor of Paris. But in March the 63-year-old socialist will be stepping down. Delanoe was behind the annual "Paris Plages", when the banks of the Seine River are turned into an urban beach, the bike rental service Vélib, and its sister car service Autolib. All those initiatives proved popular but many Parisian motorists who won't be sad to see him go... Shona Bhattacharyya takes a look at the legacy of Delanoe's two terms.
