The Chief Executive of US pharmaceutical firm Pfizer, Ian Read, faces a grilling by British politicians this Tuesday over his company’s bid for rival Astrazeneca. Pfizer has made two offers to buy the Anglo-Swedish firm, worth $106 billion, but both have been rejected by its board.
