Those golden days of Summer,
That I remember well,
Sweet daisy chains and buttercups,
Enchanted by it's spell.
A pure place of paradise,
Those days were so much fun,
To roam amongst the bluebells,
To hop, to skip, to run.
Those early years of childhood,
Filled with pleasant dreams,
Of butterflies and ladybirds,
Rainbows and sunbeams.
Those golden days of summer,
A pleasant tale to tell,
A fairy tale of childhood,
How I remember well.
