Every Night We Go To Sleep

Every night we go to sleep
Not knowing for certain
That we will ever wake again

It is possible to die
Without being conscious
That one is dying

One can sleep forever
Without ever knowing it

It is late and I am tired
Soon I will go to sleep

I love the morning
I pray to God
Tomorrow morning
I will still be here
