Far away, at the edge
of the world
The dragons met
And then they wept
great tears.
Extinction, too late,
So now we die
Magic has gone
We cannot prevail
However we raille
Against our fate.
A figure, so tiny,
spoke to them.
We can survive
We are alive
My dears.
Fools cannot perceive
That we exist
for ever, as long
as one wise child can
grow into a man
And still believe.
