Temperatures are dropping,
This cold it isn't stopping.
Chilly winds won't ease,
It now begins to freeze.
And winter's settling in,
Goose pimples on the skin.
With some unwanted sneezes,
Followed by chesty wheezes.

Rain that turns to ice,
You can slip up in a trice,
Of this danger, do be aware,
Or it's down on your derriere.

Snowflakes upon the ground,
So feet don't make a sound.
Sledge comes from the shed,
Then it's full speed ahead.
Frozen nose and toes,
Feeling like Eskimos.
Raw, the outside air,
Frosty, everywhere.
Shivering in sub-zero climes,
And hoping for warmer times.
