Transcript:
A young man named Gang Min is having a hard time in Hong Kong's crime scene. His father is shamed in the criminal elite for marrying a British immigrant, and Min, like many young boys before him, wants to be more flamboyant than his father allows, so naturally, he murders his father... then names himself after the 19th century Burmese king who also killed his father.
Surprisingly, a guy who commits patricide doesn't have many friends and Min must seek refuge in Kyrat, a Himalayan region that's doing its darndest to be a failed monarchy. In the midst of a civil war, Min shows up with a private army and sides with the Royalists, helps them reclaim the throne, and then murders them all.
As Pagan establishes power, a revolutionary group springs up called The Golden Path, led by the rebel tactician Mohan Ghale. Mohan and Pagan are also caught up in a love triangle with a local woman named Ishwari. Mohan bites the Himalayan dust, Ishwari flees to the US, and Pagan goes all Howard Hughes and retreats to his palace, leaving several crazy governors in control. You are Ajay Gale, the child of Mohan and Ishwari, who was told by his dying mother to spread her ashes in Kyrat… and you’re totally in the dark about all of this.
