Dahil sa sunog noong Mayo 13 sa pabrika ng Kentex Manufacturing Incorporated ay nagsagawa ng inspeksyon ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Valenzuela. Pinangunahan ang inspeksyon ni Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian kasama ang mga kinatawan ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Maraming paglabag kaagad ang kanilang natuklasan.
