US President Barack Obama says that closing US borders to citizens of three West African countries hardest hit by the Ebola epidemic would be counter-productive, after White House crisis talks.

The most important thing, according to Obama, besides treating Americans infected with Ebola would be to "deal with Ebola at the source in West Africa".
