President Nicolas Maduro announced that Venezuela and Guyana will restore their respective ambassadors. The announcement came after a meeting between Maduro and Guyanese President David Granger, held in New York and chaired by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. Maduro called for permanent dialogue and communication to resolve the border dispute with Guyana.
