Kostoja e rrugës Rrëshen-Kalimash ka rikthyer debatet ne kuvendin e Shqipërisë dhe dy vjet pas përfundimit te saj.
Nënkryetari i grupit kuvendor socialist Erjon Brace, denoncoi faktin se, shpenzimet për autostradën kane tejkaluar çdo parashikim duke arritur ne mbi 1 miliard e 400 milion $. Sipas tij është kjo arsyeja pse qeveria shqiptare kërcënohet sot nga borxhi publik, pjesën me te madhe te te cilit e ka marre ndërtimi i saj. Gjate interpelancës me ministrin e puneve publike te kërkuar nga deputeti brace, ministri Olldashi deklaroi shifrat zyrtare te rrugës dhe tunelit. Ndërtimi i segmentit Rrëshen Kalimash pa projekt fillestar dhe me kosto te konsiderueshme për buxhetin detyroi prokurorinë qe te niste hetimet per abuzim. Per kete fakt u mor nen hetim edhe ish ministri Lulëzim Basha, por për shkak te imuniteti dhe për arsye procedurale, kjo ceshtje nuk u arrit te gjykohej nga gjykata e larte.
