Meshari i Gjon Buzukut është shtypur ne Venecia, ndërsa vete autori jetonte ne periferi te qytetit italian. Ky është përfundimi ne te cilin vjen Lucia Nadin, albanologia e cila prej vitesh ka hulumtuar mbi tezen e vendit se ku u shtyp e prodhua libri me i rëndësishëm per gjuhen e shkruar shqipe. Nadin tregon se kjo teze është hedhur edhe me herët nga studiues te tjerë shqiptare e te huaj, por faktet për vertetesine ajo përpiqet t'i shpjegoje kështu. Albanologia ka sjelle ketë kumtese shkencore pikërisht gjate këtyre ditëve, qe Meshari i Gjon Buzukut, i vitit 1555, ndodhet per te here te pare i ekspozuar ne Bibliotekës Kombëtare. Ne librin "Shqipëria e Rigjetur", Nadin ndalet edhe tek Marin Barleti, i cili sipas albanologes ka vepruar si prif ne vitin 1494, ndërsa veprën "Jeta e Skënderbeut" e krijoi ne vitin 1510.
