The teenage misadventures of Corliss Archer proved popular with radio audiences, as MEET CORLISS ARCHER ran from 1943-1956, at one time or another, on three major radio networks: ABC, CBS and NBC.
There were two feature films However, Corliss didn't make the transition to the small tube as easily. Two series, in 1951 starring Lugene Sanders, and in 1954 starring Ann Baker failed to catch on with sitcom followers and both ended after relatively short runs.
