Bengaluru, Mar 14 (ANI): Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam, Dalit Liberation Front, Dalit Viduthalai Munnani and various other organisations in Tamil Nadu protested on Monday demanding justice for the 22-year-old Dalit boy, who was killed by a gang of unidentified armed men in Udumalaipettai district of Tamil Nadu on Sunday. Human Rights activist in Bengaluru Narsimha Murthy on Monday said this is not an honour killing but a brutal murder. The boy was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. According to reports, the wife of the deceased belongs to a member of the dominant Thevar caste. She was with him at the time of the incident and was critically injured and admitted to the ICU later.
