Tripura, Mar 24 (ANI): The East Zone and All India Inter-University Volleyball Competition for men was recently held in the Tripura University campus. A total of 45 universities, including 25 from the East Zone and 15 from other parts of India, competed in the championship. Sports lovers were thrilled at being able to witness such a big event, from where many national players were selected. In the final match, the two ultimate teams from last year’s championship faced each other again. After a grueling match, Chennai-based SRM University defeated Kurukshetra University and took the trophy home. Such championships not only provide a platform to sport enthusiasts, but also help strengthen inter-state relationships and cultural unity.
