Welcome back to Clevver Music. Whats up Smilers? Were smiling because today we got a new Miley Cyrus music video. "Wrecking Ball" Mileys power rock ballad and second BANGERZ single finally has a video companion. And this "Wrecking Ball" video is a vast departure from her "We Cant Stop" video and her recent racy VMA performance: no bears, no red cups or sexual dancing. Miley is completely stripped down and we have famed photographer Terry Richardson to thank. The emotional video starts with 30 seconds of a close up shot on Mileys face, with tears welling up in her eyes. With little makeup on the singer belts the honest lyrics, and the next shot we see is Miley holding a sledge hammer. Miley is revealed in a white crop top and white matching panties in a warehouse in a concrete block boxing her in. Not long after a wrecking ball appropriately comes in and smashes her world apart. The walls come crashing down on Miley, who appears solo in the video. The clip is emotional and symbolic, until the innocence quickly departs and we see Miley swinging on the wrecking ball- completely naked. Her world has completely dissolved and shes taking hold of the wreckage. The rest of the video sees shots of Miley destroying her barriers and she manages to make even sledge hammer sexy. Miley licks the hammer in a close up shot and we see that infamous tongue that just wont stay in her mouth. So what is Miley really trying to say with this video?
