Adhiraj Bose has taken this as a peg for his short film Interior Cafe Night, which sees two couples in two different situations dealing with life. The ex-lovers Naseeruddin Shah and Shernaz Patel (both in top form!) meet after a lifetime, sharing familiar grins and idiosyncracies. The lovers on another table, Naveen Kasturia and Shweta Basu Prasad are presumably having their last date as the girl's character is moving away.
