Footage has emerged from Jarrow, UK, of a siege at a bookmakers involving four hostages allegedly after a failed robbery.

The video, shot on Sunday night, shows multiple police vehicles surrounding the shop moments before the hostages were released.

According to reports, a firearm was seized by officers and a 39-year-old man was taken into police custody.
