Facebook is going after GoFundMe. The social network has introduced a ‘personal fundraiser’ feature today. Users will be able to accept donations to cover expenses for education, medical, pet medical, crisis relief, personal emergency and a funeral or loss. Friends can donate without leaving Facebook. The company says that the ability to see profiles will provide donors with confidence that they are supporting a legitimate need.
