An impressive video has emerged of a huge pod of sea lions feeding off the coast of Moss Landing, CA, USA.

The footage, shot on September 16, shows a humpback whale approaching the feeding frenzy as a group of kayakers observe the show.

"The sea lions appeared at the surface 20-30 s before the whale would first breach," the filmer wrote online.

"Soon after the whale went on one of its longer dives, the sea lions disappeared."
