A fireball was spotted hurtling through the sky by residents in Maine on Tuesday, December 26.

This video captured the meteor on a Google Nest Camera at the home of Litchfield, Maine, resident Toby Jutras. It shows the fireball falling towards the ground in the distance.

The meteor was also captured on a webcam on Maine’s Mount Agamenticus at about 5:52pm, WCVB5 reported. It was visible across New England, and as far as south Connecticut, according to NBC Boston.
