People always talk about 'bad customer service'... But how would you feel if you got yelled at all day, with people treating you as if you are not worth their time, not looking you in the eye (while on their phones), expecting you to fix things beyond your control...? And to top it off, you don't even get paid much to be a babysitter or psychologist? Because frankly, that's what customer service people are forced into doing much of the time.

i've felt this way for the longest time, but this video was inspired by a man who was disrespectful to grocery cashier Lauren (i think that was her name); a 17-year old with some of the best customer service patience i have seen in NYC. i actually appreciate some jaded customer service to a degree (because it's a thankless job); but this dude had the rare opportunity to encounter one of the nicest cashiers he most likely would run into in NYC, and he just treated her as if she were beneath him.
