Nathaniel Obert was on a flight from Hawaii to LAX when he recorded a Space X rocket launch on 22 February, 2018.

Nathaniel told Storyful, “I was sleeping on the plane, in the aisle seat, coming home from Hawaii where we were on vacation. My fiancé, whom I just proposed to on our vacation in Hawaii, woke me up on the plane. Apparently, the captain came on the speaker while I was sleeping and announced SpaceX would be launching a rocket that morning.”

Nathaniel continued, “My fiancé, knowing my love for space, physics, woke me up right away. I jumped to the window seat since nobody else was in our row, and I recorded the video right in time. I posted the video on Reddit where it went viral.”
