This is the touching moment an 11-year-old boy reacts to seeing colours with the help of special glasses.

The footage, captured at a home in Michigan, shows the boy wearing the glasses and getting excited as he identifies the colours of the objects around him.

The mother later wrote online: ''I saw online that these colourblind correction glasses weren't too expensive so I ordered him a pair.

''We we're both excited for him to try them on.''
