In a first for South Korea,... exports have surpassed 50 billion dollars for four months in a row.
Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said on Sunday that outbound shipments came to 51-point-2-3 billion U.S. dollars last month.
That's a slight dip from a year before, but it was attributed to the fact there were fewer working days this June and because exports were already so high last year.
Imports, meanwhile, surged 10-point-7 percent on-year to almost 50 billion dollars and the trade surplus came to 6-point-3 billion.
