With fresh pressure mounting after the Supreme Court on Monday said it will hear the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case in January next year. Sources said leaving the Ayodhya issue “entirely” to court proceedings, “at this juncture”, could adversely impact the BJP’s prospects in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
