An elephant who was unlucky in love took it out on a town in China’s southwestern province of Yunnan, damaging cars and buildings before wildlife authorities managed to sedate the creature and take it away. The officials said they believe the four-tonne male lost a tusk while fighting over a mate with a rival who then expelled him from his herd.
