This is the terrifying moment a woman narrowly escaped death after an out-of-control lorry smashed into the side of a road in Shanghai on April 9.

The dramatic CCTV video shows an out-of-control lorry suddenly swerving onto the sidewalk as a woman pedestrian frantically dodges the vehicle which turns twice and ends up almost wrapped around her.

The case was being investigated and no more details were known, reports said.
