Horse riders and supporters of the 'jineteada', a traditional sport in the gaucho culture of Uruguay where the riders must stay on a horse for a specific amount of time, attend the last day of this year’s event, as animal activist demonstrate outside the venue after two horses died during the competition and demand the event be banned.
