美상원 국방수권법안 "주한미군 2만8천500명 이하로 축소 금지"

The U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee has authorized a 750-billion dollar defense budget that blocks any significant reduction of U.S. forces in South Korea.
The bill states that at least 28 and a half thousand troops must be kept here due to what it calls continued threats from North Korea.
That's six and a half-thousand more troops than in the equivalent bill last year.
The move is seen as a way of preventing President Trump from pulling American soldiers out of South Korea, which he has threatened to do after repeatedly complaining about military cost sharing.
