In Odisha bureaucrat has warned government departments not to keep money in banks, keeping in mind the potential risks. The Reserve Bank of India has expressed displeasure over this attitude of the officer, saying that the spread of such messages will create fear among the general public.

ओडिशा के एक नौकरशाह ने सरकारी विभागों को संभावित जोखिमों को ध्यान में रखते हुए बैंकों में पैसा नहीं रखने के लिए आगाह किया है। अधिकारी के इस रवैये से भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने नाराजगी जताते हुए कहा है कि इस तरह के संदेशों के प्रसार से आम जनता में डर पैदा होगा।रिजर्व बैंक की इस प्रतिक्रिया के बाद ओडिशा सरकार में प्रधान सचिव ए के के मीणा ने सफाई देते हुए स्पष्टीकरण जारी किया.
