Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday presented the general budget for the financial year 2020-21. Nirmala Sitharaman set the record by giving the budget speech. This was the longest budget speech ever. Nirmala Sitharaman spoke in the Lok Sabha for two hours and forty minutes. However, due to ill health, she sat down without reading two pages.

केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने शनिवार को वित्तीय वर्ष 2020-21 का आम बजट पेश कर दिया। निर्मला सीतारमण ने बजट भाषण देकर रिकॉर्ड बनाया। ये अब तक का सबसे लंबा बजट भाषण था। निर्मला सीतारमण लोकसभा में दो घंटे चालीस मिनट तक बोलीं। हालांकि, तबियत खराब होने के कारण वो दो पेज बिना पढ़े बैठ गईं।
