In view of the Meteorological Department's (Met)'s fresh warning for heavy rain and snowfall in some parts of Uttarakhand has been issued. Chamoli and Uttarkashi have witnessed unprecedented low temperature. The hilly areas have received heavy snowfalls which affected normal lives in the region. Meanwhile, the fresh snowfall drew high numbers of tourists in the hilly state. The low temperature in Uttarakhand has broken the 15-year-old record.
