Kala Narayanasamy is an Indian-origin woman who was honoured with the Singapore President's award for nurses, which is the highest accolade in the nursing profession. Kala Narayanasamy, who is the Deputy Director of Nursing at Woodlands Health Campus used her experience from the 2003 outbreak of SARS in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
