The Parliamentary Committee on Labor Affairs has recommended in its recent report that the current time limit of gratuity for employees be reduced to one year. Please tell that the time limit for getting gratuity is 5 years. The committee has suggested this amid layoffs in companies due to financial constraints during the corono virus epidemic.

श्रम मामलों की संसदीय समिति ने अपनी हालिया रिपोर्ट में सिफारिश की है कि कर्मचारियों के लिए ग्रेच्युटी की मौजूदा समयसीमा को घटाकर एक साल कर दिया जाए. बता दें कि फिलहाल ग्रेच्युटी पाने की समयसीमा 5 साल है. समिति ने कोरोनो वायरस महामारी के दौरान आर्थिक तंगी के कारण कंपनियों में हो रही छंटनी के बीच ये सुझाव दिया गया है.
