Gerakan has predicted that Penang voters would turn against the DAP in the next general election because of the many controversies hitting the state government, says party Secretary-General Datuk Liang Teck Meng. Liang also described DAP lawmaker Jeff Ooi as arrogant for refusing to apologise for his alleged tweet on the death of PAS spiritual adviser Datuk Dr Haron Din.
