Umno supreme council wants the Perikatan Nasional government to allow the Parliament to convene during the state of emergency and not create a barren parliamentary democracy.

Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan told reporters this after a supreme council meeting on Sunday (Apr 25).
