Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched Mukhyamantri Ghasiyari Kalyan Yojana on October 30 in Dehradun. While addressing the public, CM Dhami highlighted the steps taken by the state government to deal with catastrophic floods. “The moment we got to know that a natural disaster might strike the state, we temporarily halted the Char Dham Yatra. All pilgrims were requested to halt for a few days at their respective places in the state. There was no casualty among pilgrims,” said CM Dhami.
