In a sign of the challenge facing New South Wales - where daily COVID numbers are nudging four thousand - GPs have been told they are responsible for COVID patients in the community - effective immediately. There has been positive news on that front though, with the Federal Government to increase the payment to GP clinics and pharmacies.
