The Northern Territory government has promised stability as the countdown to choose a new chief minister gets under way following Michael Gunner's sudden exit from the top job yesterday. The CLP Opposition has also raised fresh criticism about the timing of Mr Gunner's departure which was announced as he handed down the Territory budget.
