Kedah Barisan Nasional liaison chairman Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid is among the 15 names announced as the coalition's candidates in the upcoming state elections in Kedah.

The former Umno vice-president will be contesting in Pedu seat, which he held for two terms from 2004-2013.
