James Webb Space Telescope released images, providing an unprecedented glimpse into the mysteries of 19 spiral galaxies neighbouring Milky Way. Released by the Physics at High Angular resolution in Nearby GalaxieS (PHANGS) project, these awe-inspiring images were captured by the James Webb Space Telescope's Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) and Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI). The closest of these galaxies, NGC5068, is a mere 15 million light-years away, while the most distant, NGC1365, resides at a staggering 60 million light years from Earth.
