House speeds up hearings on amendments to Rice Tariffication Law

Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, in an interview with reporters on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, announces that the House of Representatives' Committee on Agriculture aims to speed up hearings on amendments to the Rice Tariffication Law so that the National Food Authority can sell cheap rice to the markets. Romualdez said that they aim to finish hearings and pass the measure before the House adjourns sine die on May 24, 2024
