Misty – Warren Vache, Slam Stewart 1987.

What a wonderful performance of two giants of jazz. Slam Stewart, the senior ( he died that year at 73) and young Warren Vache, at 36, one of the top jazz players in the world have a friendly musical exchange. Both play with an unbelievable musical perception, nothing seems to be impossible. The Bern Jazz Festival always manages to get the best musicians together. Warren and Slam are backed up by George Wein on piano and Oliver Jackson on drums.
